Late Friday night, the box alarm was sent for a reported bedroom fire in a residence in the Company 17 first due. Chief 20 arrived with PD to find smoke showing from a three story duplex and requested the working fire dispatch and established command. Crews from 17 & 20 held the fire to one room with mutual aid units assisting where needed. The Engine, Squad, Rescue & Utility with 16 members worked on scene for approximately 1.5 hours before returning. Thanks to Duncannon Squad 2 for covering while we were committed.
