On Tuesday afternoon, units were dispatched for a reported house fire in Company 17’s first due. Company’s arrived to find a well involved attached garage with fire spreading to the involved house along with an exposure residence. The Squad assumed the primary attack and ended up having 5 handlines in service along with supplying the truck company’s. The Squad, Tanker, Rescue and both Utility’s responded to assist Company 17. The incident ended up going three alarms for manpower due to the heat and time of day. We’d like to thank West Hanover Township Fire Company for providing an engine for coverage of our station. Also, another huge thank you to our community and for those who stepped up and provided water and Gatorade donations! Photo credits to Dustin Weese and the original photographers.
